Hi, I would welcome any input,as always I'm riding from Louisiana to Texas, mid july I think I'm staying in Houston - any good rides/sites anyone can recommend, I would appreciate it. Most of you know I'm from the wet, foggy, soggy rock the other side of the pond so I think my number one concern will be the heat so I think I'll be looking for short rides. Galveston has been recommended for a night or two, am I right in expecting mid to late 90's as far as the heat?First part of the journey will be on Amtract ,that will be an experience,i have never seen a multi level train,,,,,cant wait,,,, Ventury
ps ,,excuse the bad spellin, you can tell iam a plumber

Go this route, pleasant, low traffic, more scenic.

Gas stations are pretty common and usually not too far apart. I can't see there being an issue for you. Every small town has at least one.
Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...
