TORNADO!!!!! Feb 17, 2008

Post by Butterfly »

The Tordado that hit Prattville, Alabama is where my parents live! They were at the Walmart Store when it was hit by the tordado! They are okay but my moms new car..well that's different! All the side windows are gone, the front windshield is cracked and the right side mirror is gone as well as dents to the right side! They had to leave the area and they drove the car home, 20 miles in the pouring down rain! Good News..is they are okay!!!!!!!! :D Last year on March 1 we were hit here and our son was in the High School when it came down! Both times my family and friends have been spared!

Whew!!!!!! What a weekend! :o Makes a body think!

Butterfly,

I'm thinking that you two should just go ahead and sign up with NOAA storm chasers. As much trouble as you seem to have with them, you might as well take pictures and get paid for it!

  You might just be right! Son last year..parents this year and Eagle and I have been very close to 2! When we lived in TX and Ft Worth got tore up by one, it came right down I-20 and two blocks from us! Then here it was 200 yds....ya know I don't want to play with them..they can just go somewhere else..like out in the ocean..where they can't hurt anything or anyone!
