The same ad was/is posted on bentriders forum in their classified section ... it's a bicycle forum!! The same username was used. He is new user over there also. If I were interested at all (which I am not) I would take dennis up on his offer to check it out and lay eyes on it.

AND he really really wants out of it....

FYI..I paid $50,000 for a 2007 '57 Chev trike with only 1,500 miles 4 years ago...it had a $12,000 paint job or better...last official year of the 502's

I've stared at that trike for a few minutes and compared it with a bunch of pix on the web and cannot see one bit of difference between that body and every other BH 32 body. Where did this, alleged, sectioning take place? I can't see it.

it is in the rear where the exhausts go thru the body. The body was lowered to accommodate the custom exhausts. The regular BH bodies are much higher off the ground and the exhausts are under the body. He wanted it to look custom and like a 32 rod

doing a quick google search and looking at pics of the rear on stock ones such as the this one and comparing to pic #4 in my listing its clear where the "alleged" work took place.

The confusion comes with you telling us the body was sectioned. Sectioning is cutting the entire body in half, horizontally, removing another horizontal section (sectioning) and re joining the top and bottom half to create a lower body. That body was not sectioned, allegedly or otherwise. It looks, to me, that the trunk lid was shortened and the exhaust was raised and holes were cut in the body for the tips to exit through.
It does look nice, however

sorry for any confusion...i did say sectioned to the lower rear...if you are looking at the rear of his one and a stock one you can tell the difference and work done to it...or you could have simply asked for the details instead of insinuating nothing was done.

Original rambling post
Section 2
Subsection a

"Body sectioned 3,000"
You and I have differing opinions on what the term "sectioning" means. Mine is correct, yours is not. Quite simple, actually.
Your explanation of what was done is vague and nebulous. I still can't see what major alteration, to the tune of three grand, was done on that body. The bottom of the body aligns with the ends of the fenders same as stock. If anything was sectioned, something would be shorter.
I don't want to turn this into a pissing match. Just wondering.
As I said before, nice trike

Here is a standard height body on a trike I have for sale..honestly I don't see a difference in body height on it and yours...look at how much wheel is showing in the wheel well...damn close.

I am seeing an exhaust poking through the rear of the body on your pictures.....that is all I see

If someone charged $3,000 I don't see what they did for it.

AND for anyone looking for a local set of eyes, I will be happy to help. I have not seen the bike yet myself so I have no first hand input available :)
I am easily contacted through this Forum OR you can get my cell number rather easily from lots of fellow V8 Riders.
