I sent the Mountain Boss Hoss tank to Andy's shop and have him cut the old ram air scoop off and make a new one on it cause the one from Mountain was so wavily from the welding and too low for my taste. Andy (Mueller) and the guys made a new, straight and higher one, from one piece of sheet metal. It's bigger and the shape is more classic style...

The gauges are not hooked up yet, tank unpainted, just tin coated to prevent from too much filler...

I love it! Now I have to find someone who's building me a new seat....damn, the costs never end...hahahaha....

der Tank sieht ja rattenscharf aus. Ich glaube ich lass meinen auch so machen.
Auch die beiden Dakota Digital sehen super aus. Hast Du die schon angeschlossen und
funktionieren die auch???

Mit dem Sitz habe ich das gleiche Problem, hab auch schon zum Andy gesagt das er mir
auch einen neuen machen soll. So wie der Sitz von der Grauen, der schließt direkt unten am Tank ab.

Ja das ist das wenn man einmal anfängt, das nimmt kein Ende und man steckt immer mehr Kohle darein.

nein - die Instrumente sind noch nicht angeschlossen. Sie funktionieren, hab ich ausprobiert. Aber ich habe noch nicht die Zeit gehabt die Kabel ordentlich unter dem Tank zu verlegen....das kommt erst, wenn der Sitz fertig ist. Ich habe jetzt erstmal alles schnell zusammengebaut damit das Moped läuft und ich damit nach Andreas's Beerdigung fahren kann zum letzten Geleit....

ich komme auf jeden Fall auch zu Andy's Beerdigung aber ich kann leider nicht mit meinem Bike kommen.
Das habe ich total auseinander gebaut. In meiner Garage steht nur noch Rahmen, Motor und Getriebe.

mit der neuen Boss Hoss meinst du bestimmt die 620cui Boss Hoss von Andreas? Naja. der Tank ist ähnlich, weil er auch verlängert ist und einen Ram Air Scoop hat, aber der Scoop sieht anders aus wie von der 620er. Meiner ist vorn eher eckig, während der von der 620er eher im ganzen rund ist. Das eckige sieht etwas klassischer aus, und gefällt mir an meiner Karre besser als eine runde, moderne Form.

PS: Ich unterschreibe hier eigentlich immer mit "Loafster", somit kann man uns in Zukunft nicht verwechseln...smile...irgend jemand im Forum hat mal vor langer Zeit gesagt ich sähe aus wie Meat Loaf, so wurde aus dem Olaf ein Loaf und später dann ein "Loafster"...hahahaha

with the new Boss Hoss do you determine the 620cui Boss Hoss Andreas? Naja. the tank is similar, because he also has been renewed and a Ram Air Scoop, but the Scoop is different as the 620er. My front is more angular, while the 620er more in the whole round. The square looks a little classical, and I like my truck better than a round, modern form.

Und Du.. wo kommst Du her? Bist Du der Olaf, der mit Andy in PC um die Bikes gelaufen bist und die Einschätzungen "Bester Umbau" usw. getroffen hast. Habe mir das Video von PC, welches übrigens suuuper ist, schon ein paar mal angesehen.

Ja, ich bin der Olaf von dem Video, allerdings jetzt mit kurzen Haaren
Ein Ram Air Scoop ist eine Lufthutze, die den Luftstrom bzw Fahrtwind durch eine Öffnung auf den Luftfilter lenkt. Gibt es bei Autos und Motorrädern...in meinem Fall ist es die Blechhaube oben auf dem Tank, die nach vorn geöffnet ist. Andy's neue 620er Boss Hoss hat auch noch zusätzliche, seitliche Ram Air Einlässe.

That's 'Der BatBike' or, maybe, 'Der Battenbiken'

lol, I can read a little German, but not much spriken or spellinz

The German word is BüstenHalter which would be something like a BreastHolder, or in short term a BH.
Then the software translates BH into bra....
