if you want a smooth, vibration free ride, Not good enough to just balance the wheel as no doubt that all accessories aren’t perfect and WILL skew your wheel only balance.

I’m glad that you are happy with beads; didn’t work well when I tried it, besides, how do you know how much bead weights to inject with balancing?

I used 2oz on the front and 3oz on the back.

I've had good luck with the beads also but I haven't been over 100 MPH since I've been using them . At normal highway speeds however I don't feel any vibration or shimmy or bounce , smooth as silk .

I beleive that is the ticket Jack...if you are not a speed freak then the bead work awesome.

Also...think about it...tires NEVER EVER wear evenly...on a Hoss or Harley or whatever. The beads keep it in constant balance to the end of the tire life whereas weights are out of balance as soon as some goofy wear happens.

I'm preparing to use 2 oz. of beads in mine once I get this pig back on the road. Tired of the sticky weights falling off in the 110+ degree heat. The 3M just doesn't do the trick.

Good to hear about the goofy wear patterns. The price of owning a beast with a car engine. Good enough for me.

I didn’t think it would hook - does it?
I was going to run the NT05R on mine when I got it dialed in to see what it’d run with traction but would much rather have the 555R for the streetability.

Besides the Nitto 555, Berzerker hooks great due to several other factors, one being that I'm running a 36 tooth front pulley and a smaller rear pulley which provides 160mph in low, the other factor being due to FAST traction control.
Now that I have a Winters tranny and no longer need to do everything in low gear, I have been thinking about switching back to factory front and rear pulleys which would give me a lot more torque.
I'm running a #5 converter which gives me around 2500 rpm stall ( can't remember exact RPM where it flashes, but that's close ), even with 605 ft lbs of torque and 600+ hp at the rear wheel, that high pulley ratio really delays my engine rpm's quickly reaching power curve; but it also prevents my rear tire breaking loose, what to do? lol

Oh yeah... gearing and converter... those variables I did not consider.

There was always a fine line with the BH... you could massage it just enough to accelerate at an incredible pace, or you'd light the tire and have to play catch-up.

Rick, I would like to buy a balancer exactly like the blue one in the video above. Can you get me some info on it so I can order one? I cant seem to find one big enough to handle the Boss Hoss wheel assembly. Thanks!!

i have a balance bar for sale that is similar to the one shown, however it does not have a stand incorporated with it. i have used jack stands and level them first.
it is for sale, balance bar shown in the attachment. $50 + shipping, the ends on the bar sit on the jack stands,,,,the rear jack shown is for sale also, $50 + shipping,

Bryan, after 36 rear tires you're finally getting a balancer !! The next 36 will be a much smoother ride for you..

Following up to my front balance bead install: I took the trike out into the middle of nowhere to open it up where I could sustain 100+ MPH for several miles with no other soul in sight. The desert is great for that. All kinds of visibility. The balance beads did the trick. Fine riding on the high end; no different than flowing with traffic at lower speeds. I used 2 ounces as recommended for my size and rating of tire.
