Checking nuts and bolts

I know many do this on a regular basis and I usually do but got lazy recently and lost the lower bracket on the exhaust. Of course, it is a custom made piece that has to be made from scratch :banghead: I wear ear plugs and thought I was hearing a metallic sound but did the dumb ass look around to see what it was... NO. In addition, the rattling around messed up the coating on the pipe so off it goes to get re coated while the bracket gets made. So, for those that do not, might be a good idea to put a wrench to the fasteners on occasion

That really sucks ... Even if we had taken Uncle Roy more serious and gone back to find the piece it would have been seriously scared up. It would have been nice to have for a pattern (and kept the bike on the road) anyway. Have you sourced a local shop yet?

PS

Please open the door down there in FL ... it's grey, gloomy and cold up here. My garage heater keeps kicking on :(
