older style flip fender

Post by V8Bikers »

Anyone have a photo or saw one on a 00 or newer Boss? I never really liked the pro street ones and started thinking about options.

Wildman had one and so did Jack (hogv8). I just painted Jack's last night but not sure how soon it will be on my bike.

I liked the old style Bobbed rear fender look but decided to go with a more updated rounded rear fender look . I will say that changing a rear tire is much easier with a Bobbed rear fender .

I've never seen a hinged rear fender on a Boss but I've seen plenty of them on Harley's over the years .

I wanted one on my bike, but I didn't want a plastic fender, so I bought a steel one and widened it

Nice project Grizzly. Are you doing the paint yourself? What else has to be done?

I am doing the paint myself, not doing much more than cleaning it up and riding right now. I have a new instrument panel I painted also but gonna wait until I get other things caught up to mess with wiring it.

Shane, looks great. Love the color, rear fender, and the flame logo!
