Speedometer recalibration

Post by CanuckHoss »

Anybody know how to recalibrate a Speedo on a 2009 where the reset button is not on the Speedo but on the side on the dash??

I know how to do the procedure with the ones with the reset button on the Speedo but I tried this the same way and it did not recalibrate

I try to translate the German manual:
First drive a route with 2 miles and mark the beginning and the end.
Start the Engine and press the Button in/on the Speedometer until the pointer moved around, then it moves to the middle of the Speedometer. Now you are in the calibration mode.
When you start driving the 2 miles press the Speedometer button. Now you can see how the Speedometer counts the signals.
At the end oft the 2 miles press the button again and the calibration is done. Now Ignition off an on and all is fine

OK..I think the mistake I made was not holding the button in until I started the engine. I held the button and turned then key on and waited a bit but the needle never moved. Then I started the trike. Will send customer the info.
