Valve cover oil cap for 1 3/4 in

Post by hossv8 »

ZZ502 rider blew off oil cap. Any ideas where to get one or an adapter to fit an ID 1 3/4 inch hole in Valve cover?

Amazon is a good start, but Summit or JEGS should have what you're looking for.

I'd be more concerned about the cap blowing off... was it excessive crank case pressure?

I dont think excessive speed. Maybe crankcase pressure running uphill, or just a poor fitting cap and hitting a bump. A cardboard cutout and duct tape got the rider home though

I'd try going to a GM dealership that sells GM High Performance Crate engines.
