Arnott no longer selling Boss Hoss Shocks

Post by V8Bikers »

Heard this from member Paul H who had sent them an inquiry asking why they were not listed on their site. I called them and they said that current customers that are under warranty will be covered.

Others who are out of warranty but need repairs can send them in for repair as long a parts are still available. Some parts my be around for years as they are common with some of their other products but others such as the shocks might only be available for a few more months.

I have had them on several bikes and was very happy with the ride. Had always planned on buying them in the future and never looked into an alternative. Anybody know of any?

That is too bad...had a set on the 2008 502 that went to Mexico and it was a night and day difference from stock...

I still got them from 7 years ago and no problems but now that they don't make them any more all bets are off.

I heard they're still selling them?
"Arnott!"
Wocka wocka! Sorry foks, I couldn't resist! (No disrespect intended toward the good folks at Arnott).

Foolishness aside, I am not in any need of replacement shocks yet, but as the OP asked, I am also curious whether there are any alternatives out there. The day will surely come.

Hello Gerry,

I apologize, we discontinued all Boss Hoss kits at the same time including the Trike kit. Sadly we do not have the stock to make the kits for the Trike anymore either. Thank you for checking with us, wish we could have been of more assistance.

Warmest Regards,

Arnotts work really, really well on the bike as the stock shocks can't be made to ride like the Arnotts which I put on a 2008 BB bike. Big difference.

Having said that...Arnotts or any airride are NOT necessary at all on any trike as the stock cheaper setup can be made to ride as good or better than airride.
