Tranny controls

Post by Hoss97 »

Hi all,

I just purchased a one speed tranny and torque converter to my clutch bike and need any other parts required.
The controls for Rh left side handle bar, and any other items.n if you have parts numbers would be great.

I don't have part #'s,But you need the solenoid on the tranny and an on/off toggle switch..I think that's about it.

Thanks Randy.

I'll give the Canadian dealer a call, see if he can get them.

You'll need a trans cooler and lines. The solenoid is a NOS nitrous item. If you can't find the left side switch assembly, any sort of bar mounted toggle switch would work. Before I converted my one speed back to a clutch bike (long story) I considered a foot switch like an old style headlight dip switch

Just an FYI...Boss Hoss parts listings have sucked in the past making our job hard but hopefully will be better with the new owners...

Now doing something like a conversion even further complicates things.

Please be patient with my guys in parts as getting Boss Hoss parts has been the hardest part of their jobs..when I mention I need parts they both go running for the front door...lol

haha, hopefully they don't run when I call! I'll be patient, its no rush.... yet. But the riding season is almost here, been warm in Southern Ontario so hasn't felt like winter.
i have about a month then to do the conversion and all the other minor stuff.

Forgot to mention i do have the radiator required for the one speed, so I guess I just need the switch and the solenoid.
