Digital gauges

Post by Iron Maiden »

I have a question about digital gauges and I will call Dakota Digital if need be. But I am sure some of you might have the answer. I currently have a gauge that displays several functions but not all at the same time. So for instance I can manually cycle between oil pressure, volts, clock, RPM, etc. my question is if I have the clock displayed and something goes wrong like a decrease in oil pressure will the gauge automatically display the pressure or show some kind of warning? I routinely cycle through to check everything but just curious what would happen if there was a problem.

Thanks

Reading through the manual I believe any "warning" will be displayed on the dash no matter what screen you have pulled up. V8 Choppers would know more then Dakota because many of the perameters with dash are set by the user and not manf.

Here is the online version of manual ... it's pretty helpful source to have saved or printed.
