Okay - this is the month I had to renew all my vehicle car tags...and boy did it hurt!

My Annual Vehicle License Plate Fees for Huntsville, Alabama:

1999 Boss Hoss...$214 (includes $50 fee for a personalized tag)
2006 Ultra Classic...$196
2007 Chevy Silverado 1500...$235
2006 Chevy Express Van...$165
2005 16' Casita Camper...$103
1992 5x10 Open Utility Trailer...$18

So what do you pay for car tags where you live?

HD Trader,

Sounds like alot,,, in 02-03 i spent 10 weeks in Singapore working on a Jack Up rig. They drive on the wrong side of the road, had a rental car. Alot of cars there, many more mopeds and scooters and bicycles, but getting to the point, to own a car in the island nation of Singapore, you have to apply for a permit which costs $25,000 for a ten year permit. then you can purchase a car and not before. So even though it is considered high,, it could be worse. 8-)
But hey,,, good topic,, how about it, the rest of the V8Biker world,, how much does it cost to keep your cars, trucks & bikes  8-)

Rob,, Just wondering,, what is the current conversion rate of Bananas to $

I worked with the Singapores for three years. After ten years, you are also MANDATED to turn in your car to be CRUSHED!!! The theory is that there is no room for old or junk cars there. They are even digging up cemeteries to build high rises. The whole dang Island is only about 10 x 20 miles wide and they have NO fresh water of their own. They pump it in from Malaysa and guard the wells with Apachee helicopters.
