That Boss Hoss is a 2003 Big Block located 30min away from my home. At the beginning I hade some contact with the owner but just for about 6 month until he got it licenced...

One of the nicest BH i have seen!This British beauty has amongst other things a chromed frame,polished aluminium stroker engine,nitros and amazing paint job!

That camo bike is pretty wild. Wonder if all that up top houses a Streetcatcher type scoop?

Really enjoyable catching glimpses of these bikes. Very unique!

I really enjoy seeing all the pre '01 models with the excellent customization. I wasn't aware there were that many overseas. I wonder if most of these customs seen here are modified here or there?

I'm at T minus 4 weeks and two days 'til I get the new chopper. I'm unsure whether looking at all these awesome bikes here is making things better or worse. Maybe I should take big doses of Ambien daily and come to when it's time to leave for Daytona.

I seem to remember the early Kannon bigblocks were having some tranny problems. Possibly the output shaft and pumps? Anyhow, you had any problems?

Stan has made some significant improvements to the tranny including the output shaft. A few years back he was encouraging Gary and I to try and trash them at the track. We were putting some big hp to them especially with Gary's nitrous blower motor.

Elliot,i have understood that with the tranny in Kannon (and v8choppers that have the same tranny)one has to be very precise to put right additive in the oil.I have talked w Scot Hough about the tranny,and he said that IF it someday broke,it can easily be made bulletproof w new designed cluth, axle and torgue converter.I can tell you that i HAVE burned my tire w pleasure and w/o any problems so far. I wonder why my friends don´t want to ride
behind me anymore, hahaha!!

As you may know, Scott and Stan went their seperate ways. I've seen what one is doing and it's not very impressive. Seen what the other is doing and it is VERY impressive.

Stan is using a tranny that is very much similar to the original with some hardened and improved parts. His tranny builder and him have listened very carefully to what Gary and I had found when at the track trying to destroy tranny parts. The latest version is in Gary's bike which makes HUGE h.p. and occasionally runs a drag slick. If you want the most up to date info or need for parts, get in touch with Stan.

I'm not aware there was ever a problem with the converter but Stan is using new, higher stall converters in addition to the different (larger) front sprockets. This is enabling lower rpm at higher speeds but still giving great off the line performance.

I'll bet your bigblock can for sure mess someone up riding behind you! Don't you hate it?!

You believing what some of these guys are doing on the old style Bosses?! Not only out of the box type of thinking as far as design but apparently really fine workmanship. I get a lot of pleasure seeing this type of personalizing and customization.

Elliot , yes they have some great ideas . Have you ever seen the Boss Hoss dealer Andys Bike called Stingray . It is Wild . Rob , if you reading this could you post some pictures of Andys bike for us to drool over . Andys bike is what gave me the idea to run a VRod headlight . Another thing they do that I like is they mount their rear fenders as close to the rear tire as possible and bob their fenders short . Not much for a rain fender but who cares , it looks sweet .

Jack, I believe it's the blue bike on Page 1 of this thread toward the bottom. Louvered slats and the fender/tire as you suggest. Truly great looking bike.

Funny how every time I saw see that "Stingray" bike I stare. The "headlight" photo for some reason seemed to hold my attention quite a bit longer though!
