East Meets West Rally - Miami, OK

Well, it is Tuesday and some of the folks have already arrived for the rally. Shane is young and has to work so we scoped out a couple of cuties at the bar that he probably ought to talk to. Since he wasn't here on Tuesday, his friends chatted with these 2 girls for him.




Here is a picture of the above mentioned friends and a security guard at the casino (see what kind of friends you have, Shane. Security was needed to keep them in line!)

Women are trouble, good thing they have security there. I got a lot of rain here tonight so I am sure I have a 1 1/2 miles of mud to get to pavement. Probably best to just stay home

The weather in Miami, OK for the rally has been really nice. Mostly sunny and warm. We are keeping Stan and the guys busy with little repairs here and there. See how busy they look.


Stan even had time to make a bet with Ron and as you can probably tell, Stan won.


These bikes were parked at the tent today and I thought they were really neat.




There were some "awards" handed out at the welcome dinner. Harold got a bottle of Jim Beam (his favorite) for being the "Best Sport" and always helping out when someone has a problem or getting his trailer to bring in a stranded rider. Ron got an award for being everyone's favorite perv


And Big Jim got an award for having the best pink smoke. It is a pair of very large pink panties.

After dinner David Ward got a blues group to entertain us. They were really good and even got some people out on the dance floor. Here is Elvis with Ron's deflated award.


And Stan was even coaxed out on the dance floor by Colleen, the photographer.

i get to ride bikes over here,,just not quite the same as home!!


The all out power rush from these 50cc motors is quite exhilarating,,, the torque, especially when revving the motor and shifting into first is debilatating,,,

Somebody brought this awesome car to the rally. Here is a picture of the engine.


The car was running so we all could hear how it sounded so I took a video to get the sound but
on my netbook it doesn't sound that impressive. Hope it sounds better on your computers because it really was impressive.

I am glad you asked, it has a blistering 125cc motor in it, automatic transmission that can pull in all gears, front and rear brakes on the hand controls, and handles like shit.
And Deb,,, it's not really a bike, it's a step through...WWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,,,

The weather has been absolutely beautiful here at the East Meets West Rally!! Ron and I have been here since Tuesday and had great rides everyday and nice weather as the sun went down so we could all be out near the tent visiting. The people we missed the rally this year really missed out on some great times! Hopefully you all can make it next year! Until then, here are some clips from the burnouts this morning.

Today Shane took us on a really nice ride around the lake. We stopped for lunch...


Sat and visited and enjoyed the day after lunch...


Even though he had several offers to help, Harold applied sunscreen to his sweetie before we hit the road.
