Seems to good to be true! I didn't notice where the bike was located but maybe a member lives close by and can check it out for you????? Good luck and keep us posted.

Just from the pictures it doesn't look like a Mountain built bike...And ad says bike was totaled with a salvage title.....Thus the low price!

Thanks for the replies

Just heard back from the owner,,,,he seems very vague ,almost unwilling to give any history.Claims it "doesn't matter as its a V8".....To me it matters a lot

Ventury, I don't know how deep your pockets are, But the 2002 (I think) small block with wild paint looks like a great deal..$24,000 but with a lot of custom stuff!

Looking at the picture, it looks like one that I fixed and ran through salvage inspection. I am not 100% sure, I will try to find paper the paper work and check the vin number. IF, it is, the mileage is 1500 to 1600 less, I had to turn the mileage up for my buyer to get it into California

The bike is not the one that I fixed. Sorry they look the same. Over here alot of bikes get totalled out because of the labor to disassemble and check the frame, even if it is not damaged. I have fixed insurance bikes for under 4,000

Ventury,

I have a really nice low mileage...less than 3,000 miles...2004 SB with Kewl Metal from end...cam kit...straight pipes. Paint is 9 out of 10 in my estimate...

I can't sell it to someone in the USA but I could sell it to you and you could take it into the US as a British Citizen on holidays I assume...same as my trike that went to Germany and back.

This is the 2nd Boss Hoss I have ever sold...sat for a few years and we just gave it a full service...runs great...goes down the road great...nothing wrong with it at all.

I have a guy interested. He is to decide next week sometime. He is trying to get here to see it first..He has first shot but if you are interested you could be 2nd..

Just thought I would throw it out.

It has had a complete service...but they are original tires...owner never played rubber with the rear...I will look for weather cracks tomorrow on them but weather cracks can sometimes be considered still a safe tire.

Put the price on the website finally...asking $27,900 Canadian..there is a bit of room...even at full pop that translates to about $20,000 USD if I have done my math properly.

At this point I am not holding it anymore. I have not heard back from the potential customer here so first with money gets the bike.

I will email a video of it on the road..short but you will get the idea of the bike...my son Josh driving it after service...if I can post here I will too.

Congratulations on you new toy John. When we did Daytona in 2009 we had to take the bus everywhere. That was fun, in a not so fun way. Some strange people on busses in Dayton !!

Good looking bike and good to see Laura again!

Sounds a fantastic ride up to Canada, when in that great country please give my respects to Ric when on his soil. I still miss the guy.

ps next time put Laura in front of the selfie ( :D - I guess that'll earn me a slap when we hook up in Summer!)

Ride safe out there
