Ric's Dragon 502 breathes fire again!!

Post by CanuckHoss »

I sold Ric Mossip's 502 last fall to a fellow, Scott, who lives about 6 hours away from me.

I met him the once when he picked it up and then never heard back. This week I was wondering how he was making out with it and this morning an email came to me from him with some pictures of the make over.

Scott has done a really nice job of the bike. Cool paint...14" apes...

Check out the one side panel paint...yep a DRAGON!! Scott had heard Ric called it The Dragon but Scott also likes dragons so the bike went to the right guy.

He is headed to Sturgis and I told him there is a great group of guys on V8's that he should meet up with. Bit of a lie but what the hell...lol

Bill Taylor..can I pass your phone number onto him?? I will give you his too by text or pm.

As the Thread states. THE DRAGON BREATHES AGAIN!!

Beautiful personal touch added to an already beautiful bike!

Barry, yes, you can give Scott my mobile number.

Indeed Don...

Also today I completed a deal on Darryl's 502 that Ric's friend bought..it is coming to a customer of ours in Airdrie...will be nice to see it around...he only put 100 miles in 3 years...shame as that was one of the best 502's I owned

Ric's bike is for sale again. Scott did a Sturgis trip with his wife and the bike is not for her...they want a Boss Hoss trike.

I will put the bike in the classifieds. With the USD exchange the way it is it should be a decent price for someone in the US wanting a newly painted 502 with history and character.

There is a month to 6 weeks or better for someone in the US to buy it and do a "fly and ride" it home...nice trip no?

Sad to see it go up for sale but happy they will be staying with a V8. Someone will be getting a nice ride.
