Question On Private Messages

I just have a question, hope somebody has an answer:

I sent a private message via V8bikers.com. I sent it the middle of Jan. When I look in my box that message is still being shown in the "outbox" not sent box. Should I resend it ... if that is even possible? Is there a reason it's not sent and just sitting in outbox?

If it is still in your "outbox" that means the recipient has not read it yet. Once read it moves to "sent". If you want you can send me a test private message.

I will get a "pop up" message when I receive a private message. This is an option in your "profile" if it is not checked then the only way a member will know they have a private message is by noticing the envelope icon has an orange flap.

The person may have disabled the email notification option. The popup, at the top of the page, isn't very obvious. I rarely notice it. The person may not be aware that they have a message. Just post, "PM Sent", to them on the public board
A second, and possible, reason is that you may be an A-hole and the person has you on "Ignore"
