Sorry for the delay in making changes to the site but I am having an issue finding a decent web person for a good price. I am leaning toward keeping the dark look of the forum but making it so it is not so much of a contrast, maybe a charcoal background with light-medium grey text (similar to the forum descriptions I added). Also, making the buttons and the text inside them larger and changing up the color somewhat for board index etc. There will be a new logo added to the header and forum resize somewhat to accommodate advertising.
