Re: WOW!!!!!

Thanks Elliot, got in touch with Jimbo, we're going to meet up when the weather gets better. He has a V8 Chopper and used to import Kannons.

WOW!!!!!

Took my Kannon for the first ride today, can't get the smile off my face. It is so much easier to ride than I expected and surprisingly nimble! Difficult to push backwards though, I can see why some have reverse. The bike is a bit like a V Max on steroids.

Small radiator

Is it practical to fit a smaller rad? I noticed the V8 Choppers run a small one which looks much better.

Re: AFFORDABLE HP

Hi Elliot, the times are over measured 1/4 mile, they are proper events and the riders know how to ride them. I would like to see some of the times from the V8 bikes, the U Tube videos are very impressive! What top speed do the big blocks make?

Re: AFFORDABLE HP

As far as anyone running the 1/4 mile with any number beginning with "8", I have a problem there. I know how these bikes do against the Jap bikes at the track and I know there are WAY faster bikes than what Adrian ran. I've never seen any get anywhere close to an 8 second anything. I have ...

Re: New member

This was one built by my friend Si Harris, I made the rear wheel, 15"x15" with a 345 tyre, unfortunately it was unrideable so he cut the back end off and fitted a 300 avon.

Re: New member

Maybe I got it wrong, I think its a 350, but doesn't that work out 5.7?
I wanted to go wider on the rear and noticed some of you run car tyres, why is that please? I built a V Max and V Rod both with 330 rears.
