Re: Avon's New 300

I will be posting some photos of the new 300 billet arm for the Kannon, sorry it's taken a lot longer than I thought, just been really busy lately. Thanks for your welcome Elliot.

Re: Avon's New 300

John, I guess we'll let this thread die a graceful death since it evolved to rednecks in the southern states and Commies in California. I did want to let anyone know that in spite of my slamming Avon pretty good in the past (all deserved), I really like their new 300. Given the choice, I think Metz...

Thanks for that Aussie, it does run close, so I'll give it a few thou more clearance
The 300 and 200 have the same OD, but I need a bigger rad on the new cross member.

Re: Kannon 300 conversion

Looking good there Steve! I hear you are making wheels for our man King Piss. Here is a shot of the wheels Kidd is installing on a customers bike at Trinity Trikes in Moore, Oklahoma. These are Marv's "3-D" wheels for which I would gladly part with my left nut to have on my bike. Thought ...

Re: Kannon 300 conversion

The tyre in the pic is still the 200 x 15 Metz, I will be making a wider billet arm and both 300 x 17 and 18 rears because I haven't made my mind up yet. It will be a squeeze, but the 300 will fit centreline with the front sprocket offset by 1 1/4" or 32mm. I will keep you informed with the pro...

Working on a new tank

I think the original is too wide and ugly, so have been working on fitting a Pro Image tank, had to split it and will make a new bottom. It shows the motor off more. Kimi, should be stripping the rear out next week.

Re: 18" Wheels

I'm toying with using 17" wheels on mine as I can fit the Valkerie front 150 80x17, load rating 72 and tha 300 40x17 rear, both these tyres have a reasonable sidewall so should suit the look of the bike? The 17" 300 rears are available cheaply as they didn't sell well so should be ideal fo...
