Re: Brakes
A Mity Vac tool is very handy and I've been using them for years ... I use mine fairly often. Depending on the model/version you decide to buy they're pretty cheap and well worth the cost. I flush all the bikes brake and clutch each year as part of my "yearly winter maint" ... cheap insura...

I know you guys/gals are busy but how about an update and some pictures/video? I was so looking forward and had even convinced Kim to skip out on work for the week ... really bummed we had to cancel but no choice. Now I'm sitting here at the house bored out of my fricken mind thinking "LACROSS...

Re: TRIKE WANTED
A bud here in NC is looking for an affordable, entry level trike. Body style not important but price is. Earlier model small block most likely so he can hold cost down. If anyone sees one, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.... Els E - Did your buddy find a trike yet? I have been keeping an ey...

Barry - Being BRAND NEW out of the box I would figure Arnott would cover the shipping expense of the return ... Did you ask? I would understand if the shocks had been installed and you had been running them and they needed service the shipping would and should be on the owner (you) ... brand new th...

That is one determined soab! Nice addition to the stable! Have you had it out on the trails to see how it does against the other guys? Bill - I've had it in some local dirt and local creeks but nothing like WV last year. The guys I rode with know I have a new woods weapon but have no idea what it i...

Funny Shit ...
When I saw this video I couldn't stop laughing ... enjoy! http://youtu.be/6jgjk3DsN7c This past winter I bought a WR450F (100% dirtbike). I got tired of chasing these 250-400cc dirt bikes through the trails in WV with my 1,000 pound GSA. I decided to convert the off road vehicle title to a regular ...

Re: New bike skin concept
I like the idea of the "fairing" on the bike, I'd probably keep it as tight as possible for the aerodynamics. PS I think the air scoope you have incorporated into the sides will actually provide better cooling then a "stock" bike without fairing/scoops ... JMHO ... I also like di...

Coming together really good Jeff ... Do you have a local shop doing the powder coating? I've had a lot of PC done since I moved to PA and I found a local shop that does GREAT work and reasonable fees (I can pass on the contact info if your interested) with a fast turnaround time. I should say fast t...

Nothing wrong at all with your wrench, it WORKS. I have a lot of money in my tools only because that's how I made a living for a very long time ... just tools of my trade is all.

Congrats on the house! I am actually headed back south in a few hours to continue my search ... We are looking for something small where I can also hide out for winters.
Looking forward to next time around, will I see you in OK this year?

Good for you, good luck with building the retirement home. I know the sale of your 57 is bitter sweet ... been there, done it. I suspect that after the new house is built that V8 itch will need to be scratched and you will find another to fill the space in the garage ...

Re: Ever get beat by a Harley?
I would put my money on the Harley ... gearing alone would convince me ... BTW my R1 on a few occasions dusted small and big block BH's. I know nothing anybody here wants to hear or admit. My R1 was slightly modified (intake, pipe, fuel metering) and putting down around 195HP to rear wheel but weigh...

Very cool VT Barry! It is a great tool to show others BUT a visit in person is much better!!
