I am now a dealer for "CLOCKS4BIKES". I have had these on several of my Boss's and they have always worked flawlessly. Chrome, Waterproof, Look Great!
These motorcycle clocks and thermometers fit over the handlebar like a saddle and are secured with a discrete stainless steel set screw.
The price includes the mount and insert and are available with a black or white face. Sizes: 7/8, 1", 1" 1/4

Non illuminated: $35
Illuminated (EL): $45

FAQ'S:

- What is the diameter of the clock's face?
1.125"

- What is the diameter of the 1" & 7/8" handlebar mounts?
The diameter of the mount is 1.48"

- Are the clock and thermometer sold as a pair or individually?
They are sold individually.

- Is the EL clock “hard wired” to the bike’s electrical system?
No, they have two batteries: a 377 for the clock and a CR2016 for the light.

- What types of batteries do the inserts use?
On the EL models there are two batteries, a 377 for the clock and a
CR2016 for the light. The Non El has one 377 for the clock.

- How long do the batteries last?
The clock battery should last at least one year and the battery for the light should last a year or longer depending on how much the light is used.

- How do I change the battery?
The cases of our clocks and thermometers are stainless steel
and require some special tools to open and close the cases. Clocks4bikes offers maintenance service on all its products. Please see battery info.

- Are the clock and thermometers waterproof or water resistant?
Our inserts are truly waterproof up to one atmosphere (1 ATM) of pressure (33 feet).

- A 3 year warranty ? Even if you lose it?
Yes, if anything goes wrong, even if you lose it.

- Are the clocks affected by extreme heat or cold?
No, they are not. You should have no problems at all with them.

- How are the mounts installed?
The handlebar mount fits over the bar like a saddle and is secured
with one stainless steel set screw. The allen wrench required for installation is included with each mount.

- How do I set the time?
Remove the clock from the mount using your fingernail.
Locate the crown: 3 o’clock for non-El and 6 o’clock for the EL.
Gently pull crown out and twist to set to correct time.
When done, gently push crown in to lock.
Replace clock back into mount until no gasket material can be seen.

- How do I know my handlebar size?
You can measure the circumference of the bar using a tape measure or a piece of paper or string.
7/8" bars = 2 3/4 "
1" bars = 3 1/8 "
1 1/4" bars (chubby) = 3 7/8 "

- I ordered a white face clock, but when I got it on my bike, I really needed black. Can I exchange it?
Yes, just send the insert back to us and we’ll gladly exchange it.

- Can the non-EL clock/thermometer be seen at night?
No, they not adequate for night-riding. The EL are your best choice if you ride at night.

- How does the EL clock (thermometer) light up?
Press the half moon-shaped button on the front of the insert. The light stays on for three seconds and then goes off without being pressed again.

Great product, I have had these on a lot of different bikes and put a lot of miles on them. The warranty is great they even swap my clock out after I traded bikes because the back ground did not match the new bikes gauges at no charge.

I 2nd what Billy stated, great product, now if we could just get them to fit a Chopper, the other problem, the handlebars come straight back so it adds a visibility problem also.

Bill -

Out of curiosity can you get these with a black mount instead of chrome?

Thanks,

Don

Thanks Jack, i had thought about that but the last work I had my local guy do I'm not thrilled about. The finish seems soft to me ... not sure he cookedd it long enough or maybe his prep work wasn't good enough. The metal was also stainless but he said it was not a problem.

Bill -

Thanks! Is the finish flat or is it shiney or do I get a choice? :D I would like a flat finish if possible. Anywhere I can see a picture? I'm hoping to get down FL a week before BW and stay maybe a week after. If I order from you I can pick up from you then?

Don

To any of you on the fence ... Don't be. I got the White face to match my gauges and installed it a week or two ago. I have found it to be one of the best of the simple things I have done to the bike. I am not a clock watcher by any means but I really enjoy this little convenience. Instead of just guessing what time it is or pulling the phone out of the pocket ( which will now get you a ticket ) i just look down at the VERY easy to read little clock on my Bars.
Very well made and very attractive. Stupid easy to install ... takes 10 seconds ... Literally.
Very happy you made these available :)

I got the thermometer and a clock on my BB, and I just love them...

Just sometimes the dials are pointing wrong. Like today, the temperatur showed 45°F that must be wrong

Definitely sounds like a faulty gauge  45 degrees is too friggin cold for me - I will start a thread to see what the forum folks have for a temperature limit is for riding.

Can't praise the Clocks For Bikes people enough. My Illumination battery dies after just a few uses and instead of just replacing the battery, I asked what to look for when I did to see if there was something i could do to make sure history did not repeat itself. Their reply was, We are sending you a new unit. Please return the old one after you swap it out. Refreshing that I did not have to provide a credit card number as a deposit and sign over my life to insure they got the old unit back.
I like their style :)

One cold winter morning at 6AM my van wouldn't start and I called my boss at work and said I wouldn't be in. He said he really needed me that day and said if I didn't get to work, I was fired. My motorcycle started and I rode it 35 miles to work and it was 17 degrees (F) outside. I didn't have a windshield on my bike and the fastest I could go was 30 miles an hour without freezing to death. Never again !

I have a black face, chrome clock and temp gauge from Marlin's I installed about 10 years ago. They have been working great and they are still in business.
