The sidewall details are in the smallest font ever!

They read; Max load 375 kg @ 40 psi.

Front wheel weighs in at 272 kg + 1/2 of me so we're still withing the loading.

I'll carefully try 40 to start with and then up it slightly if things start to feel tricky.

Okay guy's... just spoke to Ashleigh at Avon UK Technical dept and he says the 40 psi on the sidewall is for "Test" purposes only.

The 50 psi or so stated by BH is fine so pumping in 46 psi should not be a problem.

:dizzy:

Here's an interesting thing, I've preached 45 or 46 psi and I checked today and front is 43 so I left it at that and rode for 50 miles twisties and country roads, including a couple of 90s on country roads and no stability issues, handled fine as normal.

I thought you were out playing around Gordon, you wait 'til I tell your wife and your local PCs!

Here's the laugh, my wife knows that I wouldn't waste good Boss Hoss riding time for playing around with another woman

Fortunately, decades of cop-spotting training pay dividends and we all know those local places where we can open her up unseen.
