send me a PM w/ a good phone number and a time to call. My calling number will be prefaced w/ a 919 area code. If you are like me I do not answer a call if I don't know the number.

Our 2011 2500 Ram diesel has performed like a champ, best pickup we have ever owned, mileage sucks however, the newer ones do much better I hear. We will be in your neck of the woods Saturday afternoon late.

Well.............

2015 has not been my year for completing most of my planned holidays...sorry and sad to say Biketoberfest is now included in one of the cancelled events.

Gwen was speaking with her mom yesterday morning about her coming and her mom informed her that she was not coming today / Friday as planned but rather Saturday. I was to fly out Saturday. Friday was to be the day we spent with Gwen's mom and figured out which car she would drive and how Gwen would get around...it is not an easy thing when your back is broken in 4 places but Gwen and I have been doing it. There is no way that I could have flown out Saturday and left "notes" for Gwen's Mom on how to deal with Gwen...all 3 of us agreed on that. So that was the nail in the coffin for this planned trip.

I so looked forward to seeing your guy's friendly faces and just vegging out after the last 3 months of stress.

I got lucky as far as the Condo I had booked with John and cancellation fees were actually decent. I was prepared to eat the whole weeks cost if necessary....just part of the cost of Gwen's recovery.

Everybody please ride safe and enjoy...for me I look forward now to Bike week in March.....

PS...my bad as I forgot to mention that Gwen continues to heal...progress is slow but nonetheless progress. She still can only walk with a walker but has taken 5 or so steps on my arm without it...does not sound like much but that is huge right now for us. We are looking at natural alternatives to build up her bones...the drug way seems to be...nope...is NOT an alternative as the side effects are far more devastating than the Osteoporosis is. I still spend most days at home with her...we can easily but slowly get out of the house for a coffee or Drs appointment...at least we are not restricted to the house as we were only 4 weeks ago. AND she can maneuver stairs alone finally!!

Had an impromptu ride to the Beaver bar in Ormond beach yesterday for their breakfast buffet. $5 all you can eat every Sunday and all the money goes to a different charity/cause each week.

Also, there is an open invitation for 1pm at Caribbean Jacks today in Daytona:

Before our evening at the races a group of us went to the Indian dealership to check out the sling shot. I am guessing that Buck might be due for an oil change......I have seen that look in Buck's eyes before

Chris Cruz and Mountain Boss Hoss are located behind the Indian Dealership on Beach.

V8Choppers is now located on the west side of the speedway.

Our plan is to go visit both locations tomorrow afternoon (Friday) and then head to V8Billy's at 5pm.
