Flat head

Saw this on FB. Thought I’d share

It's a Ford V8 60. 60 HP from 1937 I think.
This engine is smaller than a regular Ford V8.
They were very popular in midget race cars.
The Indian frame is a shaft drive from WW II.

Thanks Paul. I just have a lot of time for people who make the effort to build this type of thing. I met a a time back , he’d put a Daimler Dart in a bike. I’ll see if I have a photo

Nice install and clean build. Do you know
what transmission he used??? Just wondering
how he turned the rotation of the engine???

No mate I don’t. He was still building it when I bought a frame off him. He builds frames and built the Daimler.
His web site is CCD if you want to check his work out.

There really are some very clever people about. There’s one around these parts. Allan Millyard . An absolute genius when it comes to tin bashing. He has been mentioned in these pages before
