Hey Billy, it's time to pick vacation for next year, we're going to try and get Pigeon Forge, Daytona Bikeweek, and Boss Hoss rally.
If you're planning on doing Pigeon Forge again, what would be the dates?

Elvis -

A friend of mine went down to Pigeon Forge a few weeks ago. He confirmed that there is no damage to the Ramada, or to anything nearby. Being from the north, I look forward to visiting Pigeon Forge every year. It is my first official ride of the season. Marilyn and I will be booking for the same dates as you, with a May 10th arrival, and a May 14th departure.

Looking forward to it!

Greg

When I made my reservations at the Ramada, I mentioned that V8s in The Smokies will hopefully continue to be an annual event, and that I was wondering if a group arrangement could be offered to those of us who wished to continue this tradition. The answer was yes!

Missy, who is the Group Sales Specialist, offered to honor the booking contract that Billy had set up for us in previous years. She is holding a block of 10 rooms for the nights of May 10th (Wednesday) through May 13th (Saturday).

To make a reservation, call 1-800-523-3919, and give the name of the group, which is "V8 Bike Riders". The booking number is 5547. You may make reservations for as many, or as few, days as you desire.

Here are some details:

* The rooms each have two queen beds.
* Rates are $47.00 + tax for May 10th and May 11th
* Rates are $65.00 + tax for May 12th and May 13th
* A very good free breakfast is served every morning.
* The parking lot is set up quite well for accommodating large trucks and trailers.
* When you call to make a reservation, you will be required to pay for the first night's stay, + tax.
* The remaining balance will be due in full upon arrival.
* These 10 rooms will be saved for us until April 6th. After this date, they will be dropped back into inventory.
* Reservations that are made after April 6th, will be on a first come, first serve, basis.

Edited January 23rd - If you make a reservation and then need to cancel, you will receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel prior to May 8th at 3:00PM.

About a dozen that I am aware of. Keep in mind, that there is nothing formal about this get-together. No planned rides. No planned dinners. Mostly, this is just a good reason to get out and take a ride in the Smokies, and see some other BH riders when back at the motel.

Had a great time last week! Enjoyed seeing some Boss Hoss friends, and got lots of time on the road. Found a number of new roads to ride as well. The weather forecast looked pretty bad, but Marilyn and I got in all the miles that we cared to. We saw several storms on each side of where we were riding, but got lucky, and never actually rode through any rain. Kind of uncanny how that worked.

Already looking forward to the 5th Edition of PF!
