Ranger Tranny Question
Found a guy selling a BH That says it has a 2 Speed Ranger Transmission in it... I thought the Ranger trannys were single speed... can anyone confirm?
Who says building a border wall won't work?!? The Chinese built one over 2000 years ago and they STILL don't have any Mexicans ...
Re: Ranger Tranny Question

Re: Ranger Tranny Question
Looks very nice.
He and I must have been on the same page when we built our swing arms. His is braced just like mine. I have reservations about the chain drive. The rear sprocket is very small, meaning the front one is even smaller. I doubt if you could nail it in first without horrendous chain jump. I had fairly normal sized sprockets and dual chains on mine and they jumped like crazy. I wore both the chains and the sprockets out in less than 1000 miles. Went back to a belt ($$$$$) and have never looked back

Re: Ranger Tranny Question
I'm pretty sure that this is the same bike that was on Ebay about a year and a half ago and I almost bought it. Price then was $10000. I think the guy had just finished putting it together at that time. There was a pretty detailed description of it and it did have a 383 stroker motor. I didn't like that it had been extended , I think he said 6 or 7 inches. I bought my 1998 at this time with a single speed auto. This was my first and I was choosing something a little more calm. He told me at the time that it cornered kind of mean because was idled pretty fast to keep running. The guy accually did not seem like he wanted to sell it to me when I told him I never rode a boss and that I was 5'9" tall. As I recall he was a tall fellow. I don't think this is still the same owner, Don't think was in Fla, Seems like in the North somewhere.
