drag bike

Hello its good to be here..
Was wondering if theres any folks out there who could put some input into building a drag/sandbike..
I have a old v8 motor sat in the garage and would like to build something around it..
Lots to think about..seen them mounted sideways..
Some running radiators some not...drive train..direct drive...clutch etc etc
Any input or just what you would do would be appreciated..cheers bob

I would buy an old, big CC jap bike throw a knobby tire on it and go racing...Quicker and lighter than a V-8 dirt dragger...AND a lot cheaper..
