Sabertooth

I noticed, on the other site, that a guy is about to take delivery of a Sabertooth with a four speed/reverse, manual transmission. I was one of the skeptics who thought it was smoke and mirrors but, evidently, I and a few other were wrong. I'm betting that it is a six figure motorcycle or damned close to it. Puts it out of reach, for most. Still, very interesting.
I wonder what became of Stan's two speed. I know he had it on display, a while back ,and it really looked nice.

I, too, am curious about the Sabertooth situation and am going to call them tomorrow to try to obtain more info about models, production, etc.

Sabertooth has a FAQ's and "About" page on their website, along with their available bikes and trike models:

I thought that they have given up the ghost a couple of years ago, I wish them a lot of luck.

Their website hasn't changed in a long time. There's no mention of the four speed. It does seem that there are some new phantom bikes being proffered with no pictures. Five models in all, yet there is little evidence to suggest that they have built more than half a dozen bikes in the 5 or 6 years that they've been around. It all is still very strange. If the new trans is real, why haven't they mad a big splash on their site. I guess I'll still believe it when I see it.

Well, it's been, nearly, two months and the four speed Sabertooth hasn't been seen, yet. I'm almost ready to raise the brown flag on this one, but I'll wait a few more months.
I'd still like to know what became of the V8 Choppers two speed touring bike. I heard a lot of good things about it and, evidently, at least one test mule was built.

I sat on the V8 Chopper 2 speed bike. It already looks good but its not finished. Its going to be a reality with everything you could want. Looks, power, reliability, comfort, and affordable, its coming trust me. Whenever the bike is finished it will be tested and possibly some things will be changed but eventually it will be for sale. Please don't ask me any questions about the way it looks or when do I think it will be done or anything else about it, I just wanted you to know its still actively going forward.

Looks like the v8 bikers are going to have some nice "upgrades" to look forward to in the very near future. Bike week in Daytona is going to be very interesting-Can't wait!
