Moped run on saturday and 5 of us went this year. We pulled some of our old bikes down and took them for a ride.this is a 1947 francis barnett 125cc twin port sigle stick shift.it should have a girder front end, which I have but hav'nt done up for it yet.70 mile round trip 3 pubs this year good day had by all.

Below is w1ldmans' 1955 165cc Harley Davidson with 333 original miles.

My bike came with a black solo seat when new. The original owner who was 14 when he bought it wanted a white dual seat. The Harley Davidson dealer who's business was in a wood barn blacksmith shop at the time flew down in an open cockpit airplane, landed on a dirt road and installed it. Guess they don't do that anymore.

This is the shop my Harley came from in Yuma, Colorado. The reason it only has 333 miles on it
is the original owner who lives in my hometown wanted a Harley 74 but his dad said no way.
He got the model 165 but didn't ride it much and when he was 16 he got the 74 he wanted.

Thx Elvis and Sharpdude

Neat story Wildman! Hard to believe you have owned it for all these years and
it still only has 333 miles. Guess you are afraid of all its power!
