Boom.... A new throttle cable is cheap insurance. I would at least pull the insert out of the cable housing and look at it. Check the throttle grip for wear as well...

We came home from Laughlin today.. 500 freeway miles.... SWEET!! Home before dark and I feel good!! Thanks Stan for building such a great ride!!!

Rob... I always used a 1 gallon antifreeze container with a hole drilled in the cap just big enough for the fuel hose to fit snugly and put it in my storage compartment... Free is good.

Dave... The 04 bikes came with a V belt. If you had a serpentine belt it has been upgraded. the number I gave you is for a stock V belt set up.

The MSD kit still does not cover the pick up coil in the distributor.

Dave... The noise being on acceleration only sounds like a drive belt.... Sure it`s not that? Might try some soap on the sides of the belt and see if it goes away. Autozone sells goodyear belts. Should be a 15335. The belt is 33 1/2 inches if it`s a V belt.
