I can't see the advantage of upgrading the ignition unless your having a problem with the stock ignition . It's been proven that there is no huge noticable performance gain .

Iast bike week Tom from Mountian BH was showing me the Winters Trans he had with him in his trailer and I asked him then if my trans were to go today could he rebuild it with all new parts and he said yes .

Has anyone ever ran a 260 - 18 Metzler rear tire . I't appears to have the same load rating as the 280 - 18 , is only 3/4" narrower , about 1/4" large in dia. and cost about $100.00 less .

That's the one that I figured I had to use with the Extreme KN top filter . Without the Extreme cover you could probably use a little taller filter ( about 1/2" taller )

Anyone have any ideas where I can get the best price on a new Metzler 280/35R-18 rear tire or is there another tire mfg.that makes a 280/35-18 tire .

Do they salt the roads up there when it snows ?

I go straight to the pump but 90 degree out of the pump . I really think the fan I have blowing directly on my Holley Red helps . Haven't had a vapor lock problem in Florida since I installed the fan .
