Installed the fuel shut off solenoid in the fuel line between the carb and the distributor . Seems to work great . Now to remove the carb inlet filter with the little check valve .

My in laws from Fort Meyers got back to their house yesterday and the suffered very little damage and got power back last night sometime . My intentions to move to Florida may have changed , we will see ?

I run a Holley Red as my main fuel pump but I also have a small NAPA fuel pump plumbed into my system via Y fittings and a switch where if my Holley pump fails I can simply switch over to the NAPA pump to keep me going . Assume there is 12V power to the tach when the key switch is on. Check continuity (Green Wire) from the tach to the negative side of the coil. If your bike has some kind of ignition module the green tach wire may go there. I would doubt it is the coil, if your bike starts and runs. Mark , I've got ...

Jack , the easiest way is gonna be to test it with a good tach. You can't read the pulses with a meter or a test light.
