I don't know the exact particulars but my guess is that there are to many partners and outstanding loans and employees, high insurance premiums and no money for marketing. Th...

Re: Monte

as far as emmisions are concerned, i can fit the latest 2017 model Corvette v8 motor in a Barbarian v8 bike. add pre approved cattalitic exhausts and the bike can pass all American State and European emmision standerds. its also very easy to add ABS brakes for European needs. so staying ahead of th...

Re: Monte

This post is mainly for John who I know and respect. I am not implying that everyone has a boatload of cash to spend but I am just relaying my own experience selling NEW V8 Choppers. I did it for only 3 shows as they are in the other end of the country and at the time I also had a small trucking co...

Re: Monte

i think Boss Hoss can survive, but they will need to restructure the company. a much smaller factory with only a few employees and no dealer network would be a better way to go and allow them to stay in buisness I disagree...produce an entry level bike / not so intimidating and help established Afte...

Re: Now closed on Mondays

V8 Bikes and Trikes are at the top of the food chain. there will always be a demand for them by riders who want to experience the ultimate thrill. they are a niche market ,but that can be a good thing.its not like you can purchase one from every corner v-twin shop. producing a high quality product, ...

Re: Now closed on Mondays

for a business that manufactures a niche market product,a large dedicated factory with numerous employees can become a serious drain on resources, unless you have very deep pockets. you need to be very streamlined ,or diversify. for many years i worked together with a well established motorcycle sho...

Re: Now closed on Mondays

if V8 Choppers can do very well without having any Dealers at all, then why is it so important that Boss Hoss needs a large Dealer network in order to do well?

thanx Wag,i hope you can do that sometime soon

2years ago i was ready to move to the USA and start production over there.
