Re: Hello, my name is Jim... and I'm an alcoholic.. NOT!
Hey Don! Thanks for the welcome! I totally agree with your statement about "all bikes are ok with me" as I feel exactly the same way.. it's all about the "experience" and the people, not just the bike. I do wish I had caught up with you all but next time we'll be looking to do ju...

Re: Rear brake master cylinder - anyone price one recently?
Carl, Thanks for the info! I located what I believe is a kit in my stock pile of stuff but turns out I did not need it. It occurred to me that I may have overlooked something yesterday so I went after the issue again today. Findings: An air bubble somehow got trapped in the brake switch "T"...

Thank you both for the reply (PM & Barry), Moose, your right about the "redneck" thing lol, I usually just turn on the belt sander and it's all good in about 5 seconds... good move!! Barry, I will email you a pic of the master this morning when I get in the shop. I was thinking yesterd...
Re: Brakes
You are right, however only once have I seen air trapped on both sides which was odd and I can assure you that ALL the odd stuff happens to me lol. I've come to embrace that fact.. I may just make a power feeder with an old master top with a fitting and a tube attached to a pressure pot and force th...
Re: Brakes
I tried all this stuff you guys did too but unfortunately I have a wildwood caliper with 4 bleeders on it for all 4 corners.. it's like chasing a witch on a broomstick at times.. ![banghead :banghead:](./images/smilies/th_banghead.gif)

Re: Reverse kit for clutch bikes
If you use a 12 guage with a hot enough shell, you can get pretty good reverse speed.. otherwise, we're looking at a big CO2 cartridge as a bow thruster or possibly a mechanical oar... On the thought though, this has been rolling around in my head as well.. few ideas but the wife makes a pretty good...

Re: Ranger on eBay
And you are right... I actually own and have been transforming this bike while working out a lot of bugs left behind. Jim was tired of it I believe and lost some interest perhaps but indeed, he is a nice guy to speak with. Once it made it to Florida, I acquired it and have had a fine tooth comb goin...

Re: New Bad Ass trike in the garage!!!!
Very nice project in motion.. question, are you planning on keeping the "zoomies" on it and do they clear the body ok? That'll be an ear popper for sure! :badtothebone: Nice powder coating scheme too.. have not seen that on a bike frame before. I imagine your teeth will be clenched on ever...

Hello, my name is Jim... and I'm an alcoholic.. NOT!
However, I am a V8aholic and always have been.. as a previous veteran member of the "other site", I am happy to see that one more like what I remember 9 years ago has surfaced... all I can say is ... "it's about time and sorry I missed the inception". Also sorry I missed the get ...

Re: MORE REAR BRAKE WITH LESS EFFORT
uuuh.. ok. Way too much thinking required there man.. LOL Just pull harder! :burnout: What you want is a smaller M/C. I know it sounds wrong. Say your current M/C bore equals 2 square inches. 20 pounds of foot pressure is 10 PSI at the piston. Change that to a 1 square inch M/C and 20 pounds at the ...
