Re: Winters Transmission
Boss Hoss Concepts Just finished up the re-build on my transmission. They have 4 going on the Dyno tomorrow, one of them being mine. The total rebuild with a new torque converter Full of oil fresh off the dyno and crated. $2,396.13 total bill. I think that is a very fair price. 45 more days and we w...

Re: New Bad Ass trike in the garage!!!!
Norm; Sounds like spring bind. Change the rocker ratio to 1.5 and that should solve the problem unless the head and block are cut to close and the pistons are not fly cut for the valve to clear.

Re: Rear bushings
Swing arm bushings are real ez to replace. To remove the existing bushing, screw a tap into the hole with a steel backer plate on the back side against the transmission and the tap will push the bushing right out of the frame. The swing arm bushings pound out, screw the tap in the hole and pound the...

Re: Boss Hoss Coolant Fan
You need to be careful when you get a curved blade fan, because they are directional and most are pullers and you need a pusher with it mounted on the front of the radiator.

Re: Avon vs. Metzler
I Have had a Metzler and a Avon 300 on my 09 LS3 Standard. The Metzler lasted 3,780 miles and is bald on the left side of the tire because of the crown in the road. The rest of the tire has about 2,000 miles left on it. The good thing is there is no cupping, its smooth all the way across. The Avon t...

Re: Vapor lock??
I had a vapor lock problem with my LS3 and mike and Maryann also with his big block, Thursday after a hard fast run up the highway from Dixie Cross Roads. It's happened 3 times to me in Florida, never though it could be the fuel, but that sure makes cents.
