Re: HOW LONG

Bryan, I remember reading that some years ago, interesting log. Its good to see you are still here and enjoying your bike. I'm truly amazed at your mileage, most likely the record for any V8 motorcycle. 20160916_110630.jpg 20160916_110623.jpg Not the V8 record the Wild Turkey bike had 284,542 last ...

Re: Boss Hoss Fuel Injection Issues resolved

The issue I have with drive by wire is that the pedal position sensor is now open to the elements of weather and washing instead of inside a vehicle as it was designed to be. GM has built ls engines with cable and drive by wire both. Yes it would cost money to go back to cable but if I had an LS bik...

Re: Boss Hoss Fuel Injection Issues resolved

The frames were redesigned to fit the LS engines with factory intake I believe in 2008 when they used the LS2. Only reason I know they would use 4 barrel intake is for the people who think they need a carb. I do not understand why they want to go away from a GM style ecm either or why they can't mak...

Re: 2016 La Crosse Gathering

Saturday there will usually only a couple people there, Sunday there will be probably 15-20 and it goes up slowly until Wednesday or Thursday when a large amount arrive at once. The beginning of the week is great because of the smaller size for group rides, but the end of the week is great because e...

According to your video your rear tire has been 15,000 miles and the bike has only been about 7,500 :)

Re: I SWEAR !!!

The people upset about fuel injection and ecms should be upset at the government not Boss Hoss. Locking an ecm is an emissions requirement I doubt Boss Hoss chose to complicate things. Factory updates within a certain period of time from when manufactured could potentially cost a penalty on Boss Hos...

Re: Bike / trike changes we want the Factory to address

Sounds like NO BH bikes for the 2016 model year. Just trikes, right Rick? Rick stated above that he plans to bring a new 2 wheel bike to Daytona "Unless we hit a snag, Boss Hoss intends to unveil at Daytona 2 awesome machines, one bike and one trike that is going to blow the top-off of anythin...

Re: Harold Blocker

I don't think anyone really knows if brakes locked up, if Harold was holding the brakes, if he downshifted and caused the skid, or if the bike had a malfunction. As far as I know it rolled fine to load up after the accident. I think the only way we will know what happened is if Harold remembers the ...

Re: ALTERNATOR light

I believe they are 12SI alternators, if I remember correctly I bought an alternator for a 87 chevy pickup with a 454. I took everything out of the alternator and put it in my chrome housing, put all my bad parts in the new housing and returned it for a core. I wired my bike for the 3 wires and my li...

Last September at the National Rally I was told it should be available sometime in 2016. They had plans to raise the pan as it was too low maybe something else but very happy with operation.

Re: Floating rotor question

First year of Brembo brakes was 03 which is what my bike is. 03 used same pads front and rear. In 04 they changed rear master cylinders and calipers. I can try to measure later but would be surprised if rotors are any different size.

You definitely do not want bike trees on a trike. You need trees that were designed for a trike or the headshake will will be greatly increased and dangerous.

Re: Rear bushings

If spacers are setup correctly either torque should work fine. Reaming shouldn't be needed if the bushing are pressed in and fit the holes properly. If they are hammered in and damaged or if the holes they are going into are too small then they may need to be reamed. Mine pressed in fine and 100 ft/...

Re: NEED CFM NUMBERS FOR THE CARBY MIKE QUADRA JET

the cam specs I posted are now incorrect as they are for the Comp Cams kit that the factory installed. 1.5 rockers are standard with the Comp. Cams kit not 1.6. You can go online and get the cam specs for the GM hot cam. Buck 04 should be the comp cams kit not a GM kit that is what my 03 has, somet...

I think after that chick did the wheelie on the trike a few years back in Miami she got everyone's attention and they lost interest in burnouts. I wonder who that chick was? Do you remember her Perv?
