Re: Death Sentence
In the grander scheme of things, ultimately, we're all dead men. While I don't want the cold-blooded, murdering, piece of shit to suffer during his execution as we are a civilized society, I do tend to disagree with the use of the electric chair, and the current form lethal injection used since we h...

Re: Got Hit Yesterday
Glad you're ok.
State Farm has all of my receipts on file for all of the custom work on Berzerker and my policy will cover replacement.
A young girl was texting, crossed the center-line and killed a biker from my town; said she was sorry.

Re: New bike skin concept
My big priority is to get Berzerker finished and on the road, no plans on building those skins. I have long been interested in creating something more aerodynamic with spoilers to keep the machine planted to the road and may someday put more effort towards that end. The pics were posted merely to ge...

My 2 cents; Coan makes excellent converters. I'd recommend that you chat with Marv for some advice, he's a great guy and has lots of experience and has experimented big-time with many converters. Marv can sell you a converter or lead you in the right direction regarding the perfect Coan converter; C...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker
I have it plumbed now except for a couple of bits that require some tig welding that I'll try to have done before the weekend. Those Stinger battery posts are trick with the multiple wiring ports; no longer have to stack umpteen ring terminals on each post that makes for a sloppy sight. All progress...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker
I had a tough time with fittings but finally got that sorted, will have it mostly plumbed-up tomorrow, then need to do some aluminum fab mods and have it hydro-dipped. Ultimately had to reorder tight/shortened fittings as normal fittings wouldn't clear headers, fuel pump, etc. Been educational for s...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker
Just got home from Indianapolis (Brownsburg) and here are a few pics of the fine work Saldana did for Berzerker. Notice all the plasma cut braces and the fine welding throughout. The radiator is a double pass cross flow, notice the inlet and outlet located in the middle on one side of the radiator. ...

Clint
That is nice; I never knew they was a 32 valve engine for the Vettes.
Exactly which engine is that? I know it's not a LS1.
What is the displacement and HP?

Mecury Racing QC4v 1350hp crate engine
Check out the attachment of Mercury Racing new 9 liter crate engine, 1350HP, 91 octane pump gas. The 4 valve/cylinder is trick. Mercury Racing has helped and provided engineering to either GM or Dodge for the Corvette or Viper; can't remember which. For them to design and build their own state of ar...

Re: LS3 test ride
Demo rode an LS3 bike just around Daytona for about 20 minutes. The throttle is definitely different from a carbed bike but I am sure it is something you get used to..the lag and the bit of lull in decelerating. Chatted with some new Boss Hoss LS3 owners,,,mostly trikes and the throttle was never m...

Re: LS3 test ride
Rick, I still have the same STANDARD as when I first met you. They don't look as good as the sports model but once you have the TRUNK you will love it. If you want a good looking fast bike that isn't worth a shit on a long trip try a V8 Chopper. They can do long trips but then you gotta add baggage...

Re: LS3 test ride
Bill / PetiteMoose I have NEVER ridden a stock LS BH. What is your take on the throttle lag? Is it a safety issue? I'm under the impression that when the throttle is released to zero position that the RPM's are slow to go from say 1300 RPM to idle; if that is the case then it's a idle air motor issu...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker
Saldana Racing called me yesterday and informed that they had to remove the previously rear mounted radiator fan and re-install in front as a pusher in order to get air filter ducting clearance to throttle body, FUCK !!
I should be picking up bike next week.

I'm planning on a new, second BH with David at Houston BH who is telling me that bags are hard to come by and possibly aren't available any longer.

Looks like you have the power well under control ... Standard BH Brakes have a hard time stopping a moped. How do you plan on taming this beast? Any suspension upgrades planned? Since you are across the pond... investigate the single sided swingarm they are using there? OR there is a company on thi...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker
Pretty cool, so dry sump oil? Yup, I will have about 14qt capacity; dry sump is superior and is used on primarily high-end performance vehicles. That red component mounted onto the oil tank is a A.R.E. Spin-Tric which is supposed to remove 70% of air from the oil; I probably didn't need it as I'm n...
