Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

Dago, my painter did me right; Berzerker's paint is over the top! The BH side-panels aren't finished yet, will have them next week. I only gave Dago the Viking Berzerker theme for each part, everything you see is all him; left the artist to his own creative ability. If anyone wanting paint, Dago can...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

26 December I put 11 qts of Gibbs Driven LS engine oil into oil sump tank, removed spark plugs (take load off bearings until oil pressure established), rolled engine until oil lines, etc filled with oil and sensing oil pressure; I registered 60 psi of oil pressure just rolling the engine, fucking he...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

Wiring complete, looks great; I'm proud of myself. Wiring took an honest 5- ten hour days, all done professionally, plug connectors to allow frame splitting, wire connections soldered, etc. now programming logic, need one day to do, just need to find the time; seems everyone and everything wants / r...

Re: New carburetor, SEMA 2014 Best New Product

The bottom two pieces are Delrin and the top is Billet so Heat is not an issue. Price point is $2500 and Comes with a 5 yr. warranty. If you buy at the Major Shows ( SEMA Etc. ) you get 10% off. With their mounting plate the height is comparable to a standard Holley. I called the guy :) Holy crapol...

New carburetor, SEMA 2014 Best New Product

For you carburetor lovers seeking the best, this could be what you need. If SEMA vouches for it, you can believe their word.

Re: Carb options for BB

What sucks on a BH is having to yank the tank, a real pain in the ass. Ricky, since you are still building, you may want to consider what I did with my tank http://jkcallin.blogspot.com/2010/10/tanks-for-nothing.html Carl I am using QD pins for my tank, seat, and radiator side panels; hope they hold...

Re: Carb options for BB

Holley's are great carburetors. Rules; Keep em clean with a quality 10 micron filter If you use ethanol / gas blend E85-E15, etc, have to replace soft-goods with ethanol compatible parts else you're going to have problems; sucks, but is reality. If you can't or don't want to rebuild your carb yourse...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

The bar has been set. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has even come close to the attention to detail and the high tech engineering that has gone into this bike. And, we haven't even seen it together or seen it run and it still stands head and shoulders above anything that the top V8 have produced, so fa...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

A few pics of the powder coating and hydro-dipping. My new paint will be complete in a week or two; going to be fucking bad-ass. I'll have the plumbing re-installed Sunday, then begin wiring; fully expect to have Berzerker mostly complete in a few weeks time, then back to Kaz for a month, then in De...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

The attached doc is how I intend to wire-up Berzerker when I return home. I am so excited about wiring it up, getting ever so closer to completion. The way that FAST and Racepak share information is sweet; notice only a single wire going to fuel pump, fan, etc w/o any damn relays, fuse panels, etc. ...

Re: three wheeler progress

Thanks for the kind words. After seeing your post ,and watching a few vids, I spoke with one of their techs. That is a very nice piece. For circuits requiring larger than 14 ga. wire, you can use two outputs. I liked that you can program the unit to handle inrush currents higher than 20 amps like th...

Re: three wheeler progress

Impressive, totally impressive. All of your time and effort will pay-off on the day, and everyday after that you fire that bitch-up and roll down the street. Have you considered eliminating the fuse panel and relays, reducing the wiring by 70%? It will can bus to your Holley EFI. I have this on Berz...

Andy has built some incredible machines using a different recipe, some really cool shit, unique from the approach that is common on this side of the pond; I hope they were insured and he / they rebuild even better using some of that hind-sight knowledge that always seems to exist.

Just completed all fabrication work, dig the spiffy radiator side panels. Flamming River battery disconnect mounted under exhaust header flange, air filter air box re-done as I wasn't happy with previous box. APS billet rocker covers with new stand-off's mounts for MSD coils. Installed 36 tooth fron...
