Re: Not Sure how to react

HAD to clean the bike yesterday. After being ridden in the rain 4 or 5 times, it starts looking neglected LoL. While cleaning the rear rim, I came across something I had never seen before. Somebody had taken the time to form their chewed gum into a nice little tight ball and stuck it to the inside ...

Re: Header coating

Jack
Jet-Hot is a good one, Berzerkers headers have the extreme 2500 coating.
The process was easy, basically box your headers and ship to Jet Hot, had them back less than 2 weeks.

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

I installed a set of Ego Trip 18" wheels from Marv and discovered the rear wheel was 1/2" off center . Called Marv and he told me what had to be done to bring it back on center . It involved machining the hub and adding a spacer . I could explain the whole thing to you but this may not be...

Ricky - Hows the bike going? Did you get the minor issues resolved? I would love to see more video ... that engine sounds soooo fricken nasty! Don Don Still have one issue remaining; bike NOT tracking straight. It pulls hard right, not sure what is wrong yet. I lined-up rear wheel such that it is t...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

This is a historical event. I admire everything you've done to arrive at this point. I hope it lives up to all your dreams. Thanks, must admit that I am indeed proud, have at least one issue to workout and a few things still left to do. It is an historical event in that as far as I know this is the...

Just picked up my side panels, I'm blown away by the talent my painter possesses, farking over the top.

Finishing up some details on Berzerker, hope to take it out on the road for the first time later today.
Still have to get a license plate for it and clean the filthy bastard.

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

That's awesome Ricky! Glad you are happy with it. Sounds sick in the video. Have you had a chance to get it out on the street and terrorize small children and old ladies?. 8-) Not yet, still have to sort some shit before taking it out. Front tire is dry-rotted, no rear brakes, untangle wire harness...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

http://youtu.be/MtmqweNDgt4 598hp was the best pull I could get, couldn't keep the rear tire planted past 6000rpm, has top end cam, explosive power on big end. With an 8000 redline, still have 2000rpm more power to deliver. I dunno, maybe 700hp at the rear wheel? Might not ever know. That sheet met...

Jeff I appreciate the info, but was kinda thinking you'd move down here to Louisiana; all you can crawfish, shrimp and crabs, boneless stuffed chicken and ducks, boudin, pig roasts, Mardi Gras, etc. Besides, you need to get away from those Yankee's, Pennsylvania is too close to DC, the stench of Was...

Jeff, looking damn fine; I'm envious of your machining ability and ingenuity. I wish we lived near each other; scratch that, I wish we were neighbors. We could've helped each other, shared knowledge and learned much from each other, Berzerker could've used alot of your expertise and talent to make i...

Re: Trans temp sensor

I installed a tranny temp sensor on my oil level sight glass. Sorry no pics but replaced the bottom brass elbow fitting with a Tee. The Tee still has the nipple to slip on the sight tube but also has a 1/8" female tap which I used for the temp probe. My local Napa dealer stocks lot of useful st...

Re: LS 470 for Berzerker

Heading back to Louisiana in the morning, Berzerker not dyno tuned due to problems. Took all day Monday to sort ignition, spark was occasional. Turns out that due to tall deck raised cam, made cam sensor signal fall outside of normal window range so EFI didn't recognize signal; FAST sent us a specia...
