Re: Seeing the light
Its easy for someone to say what a Harley rider will buy but you really don't know. There are financially poor, middle class, and rich Harley riders. Harley will finance a horse if it has enough down payment so it has that as an advantage. Harley also has a dealer network that is the envy of the ind...

DRAGGING THE PIPES
We went on a ride with our club this weekend. Part was on a twisty road for about 50 miles. I was packing my wife who only weighs about 103 pounds. We dragged our pegs quite often and even our pipes. I been riding this bike for 8 years but this was the most I ever dragged it. The road was continuous...

Re: ODYSSEY BATTERY
odyssey makes the batteries METAL JACKETED and regular cased batteries. The metal jacketed ones are for extreme conditions, like in a dune buggy. Any application where there s lots of shaking or heavy vibrations on the battery. We probably don't need it but its not much more money so I just get it. ...

Re: ODYSSEY BATTERY
So I went to the battery place today. They hooked up the tester and at first said it looked good. They then gave it a load test and it said REPLACE BATTERY. I don't mind replacing it after all the good years it gave me. I never bothered trickle charging it to keep it maintained and still got over si...

ODYSSEY BATTERY
My 925 ODYSSEY battery seems to be finally going bad. The battery is over 6 years old so I think its done me right. I will replace it with the same kind. My solenoid is starting to click almost every time I start the bike. The ground cable snd connections are good. If I'm riding the bike on a ride I...

Re: So Much For Good Luck
I've had my carb Mike QJET carb on my bike for eight years. Its had pretty much nothing but ethanal gas in it for the whole 8 years and its never been anything but perfect. I just hit the start button and ride it. Idles perfect, secondaries work fine, gets decent mileage, no leaks, I run a Holley Re...

Re: 2017 Boss Hoss 502 Big Block
One of the things I really like about Ricky is he says what he feels, about politics, people, and bikes. We need a president who speaks what he feels and then does it, not a politicly correct pansy with no common sense and not much brains. Ricky took over Boss Hoss and there is no arguing that he ma...

If you are going to vote for Gary Johnson don't waste money on the gasoline it takes to get to the polls, just stay home and polish your V8.

Re: 2017 Boss Hoss 502 Big Block
Sixty grand for an 445 LS powered bike with an indestructible trans is much better than any past Boss Hoss offerings in my opinion. If a customer is looking for a cruising V8 that he can ride pretty much forever I would say go for it. If I was a little richer I would buy one. I like to ride mine on ...

Re: 2017 Boss Hoss 502 Big Block
A new Boss Hoss with a 445 LS ENGINE at sixty grand is in the game with other V8 bikes but I don't think the sixty grand one has the Winters transmission. In any case there will never be many sixty or seventy thousand dollar motorcycles sold. If you own one yours will be rare. I been riding mine for...

My carb done by carb Mike several years ago also works perfect. He obviously didn't run LaFongs on his bike like he did mine back then.

John, there are several different styles available from Summitt for 325 dollars, free shipping, 2 day delivery. The different styles all have to do with the choke or the finish, even no choke, all are the same price. All genuine remanufactured Quadrajets.

Re: Zoomies
Jack I think it would be better to leave your bike as it is. It has great lines right now. Take the zoomies you bought and add the rest of a V8 Chopper to it and the zoomies will look great!

Re: three wheeler progress
Jeff, I live in Vegas and its over 110 when I ride mine sometimes. It used to vapor lock all the time in cooler temp than that. I mounted a Holley Red behind the left side cover and it never gave me another lick of trouble. You probably have fuel injection so have a much different pump but I thought...

Re: Sold at Sturgis
They are the best Boss Hoss bikes ever made, I hope they sold some. Its easy to find customers with the "wants" but not easy to find them with the extra cash to spend on a sixty thousand dollar motorcycle who don't already have one. Of course some will upgrade but many will keep their old ...
